I joined ASL club my senior year. We learn different signs to communicate with deaf students at LHS. This club has been really fun and I believe it will help me later in life in order to be able to communicate with other people who sign.
QnI joined FBLA my sophomore year. Mrs. Caballero was the one who persuade me in becoming a FBLA member. My friends, and some family members who have been in FBLA before were always talking about how much fun they had being FBLA members, so I decided to give it a try. This club has taught me how to present in front of large crowds and have confidence. I also learned how to dress professional and believe in one's ability to be successful. I am really scared to take the test in February for Accounting II but I know that if I study hard enough, I would hopefully place. Placing In Accounting II would be a really big deal, and it will demonstrate all the hard work I have put in.
I joined prom committee my Junior year and I had a great experience. It required minimal time, yet gave me maximum responsibility. The prom committee consisted of about 12 juniors who took over full responsibility in creating a special and memorable night for our 2015 seniors. We had to deal with everything from the location to the decoration theme to the DJ, so we basically have a voice in every decision related to the special night. This club taught me how to be responsible, organized, and always have plan B's for everything.
I joined Future Farmer of America my Freshmen year and it was such a fun experience. One of my favorite experiences was Kid day which is an event where Kinder- 1st graders from all the elementary come over to the farm and we have several stations where they learn about our environment and agriculture.
